What this site is
Hurstville Kitchen Renovations connects households across the St George area with a licensed builder for kitchen work. You send your kitchen details, a design consultation is arranged, and you receive an itemised written quote from the business that would carry out the work.
We are not the builder ourselves, and we would rather say so on this page than bury it in the footer.
Who does the work
Kitchen renovation work is carried out in partnership with Coastal Renovation Group, a licensed NSW builder. Licence and insurance details are provided on your discovery call, or whenever you ask, and you can check a licence yourself on the NSW Fair Trading register.
Asbestos removal, where it is needed, is carried out by a separately licensed removalist and quoted separately.
What we will not claim
Reviews and ratings. This site is new. There are no testimonials, star ratings or job counts here, because inventing them is both dishonest and easy to spot.
Years in business. Same reason.
A price over the phone. Kitchens vary too much. What you can have immediately is the cost page, which explains the bands and the decisions behind them.
Engineered stone. Banned across Australia since 1 July 2024. It is not offered here in any form.
How a job runs
Brief and measure, drawings and selections, an itemised written price, then manufacture while you are still using the old kitchen, then two to four weeks on site. Under NSW home building law the maximum deposit is 10 per cent, and progress payments follow completed stages. The detail is in how a renovation runs.
What we are actually good at
The housing around Hurstville, Kogarah, Penshurst, Mortdale, Peakhurst and Oatley has three recurring problems: closed rear kitchens in post-war homes, unit kitchens governed by by-laws, and households that need two kitchens rather than one. That is where most of our design time goes, and it is why those three subjects have their own pages rather than a paragraph each.
