What is collected
When you submit the enquiry form on this site or call the number published on it, we collect what you choose to give us. In practice that is a name, a phone number, sometimes an email address, a suburb, and a description of the kitchen and the work you want done. Calls may be logged or recorded so enquiries can be routed and followed up.
If you send photographs of the room, plans, appliance lists, strata by-laws or correspondence, we hold those too, for the purpose of quoting.
We do not ask for payment card details, bank details, identity documents or financial information through this website, and you should not send them through it.
Why it is collected
To contact you, arrange an on-site measure, prepare a quote and follow up the enquiry. That is the whole purpose.
We do not use your details to market unrelated products, and we do not sell them.
Who it is passed to
This is a referral website. Your enquiry and the details you provide are passed to the licensed builder we work in partnership with, so they can call you, attend the measure and quote the work. From that point they also hold what you share with them directly, under their own privacy practices.
Where a job involves hazardous materials, relevant information may be shared with a separately licensed asbestos removalist. Where a job is in a strata building, relevant details may need to go to the owners corporation or strata manager as part of an approval application — normally by you, sometimes with our help.
Information is disclosed to anyone else only where the law requires it.
Service providers
Running this site and handling enquiries involves third-party providers: web hosting, a customer relationship management platform that receives form submissions, and a telephony service that routes calls. They process information on our behalf and for no other purpose.
How long it is kept
Enquiry records are kept while they are needed to follow up and to meet record-keeping obligations, then deleted or de-identified. Records relating to hazardous materials work may need to be retained for longer where legislation requires it.

Access, correction and complaints
To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, call 02 4404 0245. If you believe your privacy has been mishandled and our response does not resolve it, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner accepts complaints.
